Daniel immigrated to America from Ecuador as a teenager and needed to adapt to a new life. As a child, Daniel’s father encouraged him to work within a curious and innovative mindset that helped him to explore a variety of ideas, from delivering pizza flyers, to starting his own airport shuttle business and eventually along with his brother, get started in the Automotive Business.

As an immigrant, Daniel understood the daily struggles immigrants face when they arrive in a new country at the age of 14. With his father’s motivation and his entrepreneurial mindset, and alongside his experience in his family’s initial auto body shop business, Daniel and his brother opened his first used car dealership in 2008. His vision and mission has always been to make it accessible for the community to purchase their first car.

Daniel’s successful career in the car industry gave him the desire to give back to the community and started the Mr. Car Foundation. Daniel’s hope for the community through his foundation is to take them from surviving to thriving.

Belén Bhatti is native of Guayaquil – Ecuador. Prior to joining Mr. Car Foundation, she served as the Program Director for the Linkages to Learning Program where she helped Title I schools to provide education, social and emotional services to the most vulnerable in the community.

Belen migrated to America as a young adult where she had to navigate the system on her own without guidance or support. Belen graduated from University of Maryland Global Campus with honors and is a testimony with dedication and persistence, that we can create more opportunities.

Belen and the Mr. Car Foundation wants to invest in the community to help the community grow and help each individual to create the change they want in their lives.

Jacinto, a senior media and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in the multimedia broadcast industry. For the past 20 years, Jacinto has been dedicated to connecting multicultural markets by developing multimedia strategic partnerships across the nation.

His expertise includes multicultural marketing communications, signature events, concerts, and brand activations. Jacinto also manages business operations and sales initiatives, implementing strategic changes to improve efficiency. His comprehensive skills in marketing, event design, and customer experience continue to elevate industry standards and create unforgettable events.

A 26-time Emmy® Award-winning journalist, with over 20 years of experience as a producer and host of various TV and radio shows in the Washington DC metropolitan area.

Since 2019, Sarralde has been a freelance community engagement reporter for Montgomery Community Media, where she created the “Hola Montgomery” Spanish platform. Sarralde worked as a reporter, news anchor, and TV news producer for Telemundo Washington for ten years. Her work experience includes developing content, storytelling, and videos for the Montgomery County Council and the U.S. Agency for Global Media.

Since 2006, Sarralde has hosted and produced “Línea Directa,” a Community Affairs Emmy® winning TV show that educates the Hispanic community about political, economic, educational, immigration, and health issues.

Andrea is a native of Colombia with a degree in Mass Communications and Journalism, and a Master’s Degree in Community Manager and Social Media Specialist.

Sports

To empower youth through soccer by fostering personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills. We provide a supportive environment where young athletes can develop their talents, build lasting friendships, and cultivate a lifelong love for the game, while promoting inclusivity and community Engagement.

Health

In partnership with Emerson Foundation, our first mobile health clinic provides compassionate and comprehensive prevention health care to underserved communities, regardless of their ability to access traditional healthcare facilities. Guided by principles of equity, accessibility and quality care, we strive to improve health outcomes, promote wellness, and empower individuals and families to lead healthier lives to reduce disparities in healthcare access and foster healthier more resilient communities.
